Poem: "IF THERE'S ONE THING"

If there is one thing
I wanted out of this life,
Is to face every obstacle
And still survive.

If there is one thing
I wanted to be,
It's to be what
I really want to be.

If there is one thing
I wanted to hear,
It's my own voice,
So loud and clear.

If there is one thing
I wanted to believe,
Is to believe that
You'll never leave.

But If there is one thing
I don't want to do,
It is to wake up to this reality,
Because I know, I can never have you.
